Frederick Douglass (born Frederick Augustus Washington Bailey, c. February 1818 – February 20, 1895) was an American social reformer, orator, writer and statesman. After escaping from slavery, he became a leader of the abolitionist movement, gaining note for his dazzling oratoryand incisive antislavery writing. He stood as a living counter-example to slaveholders’ arguments that slaves did not have the intellectual capacity to function as independent American citizens. Many Northerners also found it hard to believe that such a great orator had been a slave.Douglass was a firm believer in the equality of all people, whether black, female, Native American, or recent immigrant, famously quoted as saying, “I would unite with anybody to do right and with nobody to do wrong.
The inhumanity of exploitation and oppression never stopped. It took a break and resurfaced in a more outwardly harmless, humane and altruistic manner, yet it is still wrecking havoc on innocent human life worldwide. Frederick Douglas knew a thing or two about being a slave, and I know a lot about refusing to be one……
The Marxist jive talkers of freedom and liberation subjected the peoples of the world to more oppression and economic enslavement.
“As a philosophy, multiculturalism began as part of the pragmatism movement at the end of the nineteenth century in Europe and the United States, then as political and cultural pluralism at the turn of the twentieth. It was partly in response to a new wave of European imperialism in sub-Saharan Africa and the massive immigration of Southern and Eastern Europeans to the United States and Latin America. Philosophers, psychologists and historians and early sociologists such as Charles Sanders Peirce, William James, George Santayana, Horace Kallen, John Dewey, W.E.B Du Bois and Alain Locke developed concepts of cultural pluralism, from which emerged what we understand today as multiculturalism”
Bill Clinton’s Initiative on Race
“Multiculturalism (or ethnic diversity) relates to communities containing multiple cultures. The term is used in two broad ways, either descriptively or normatively. As a descriptive term, it usually refers to the simple fact of cultural diversity: it is generally applied to the demographic make-up of a specific place, sometime at the organizational level, e.g. schools, businesses, neighborhoods’, cities, or nations. As a normative term, it refers to ideologies or policies that promote this diversity or its institutionalization.” “Multiculturalism has mainly been used as a term to define disadvantaged groups, including African Americans, women, gays and lesbians, and the disabled, many theorists tend to focus their arguments on immigrants who are ethnic and religious minorities, minority nations, and indigenous peoples.”……More
Monument to Multiculturalism by Francesco Perilli
Multiculturalism is another perverted political ideology that continues to separate and divide people based on trivial matters, and like all the other –isms floating around it is simply driven by greed and envy. The motivation is simple: I want a piece of the pie that I didn’t bake whether you like it or not. Some people think they get over by pushing this Multicultural agenda, but little do they know that they are only re-enforcing the perpetual stereotypes of the superiority of one group of people and the inferiority of another………
A lot of people believe in the fallacy of Marxism/Socialism as the savior of the oppressed and exploited peoples of the world and see private enterprise (Capitalism) as the boogeyman. But here we get into the mindset of the Marxist revolution against Colonialism and Imperialism.
“The Negro is indolent and lazy, and spends his money on frivolities, whereas the European is forward-looking, organized and intelligent……We’re going to do for blacks exactly what blacks did for the revolution. By which I mean: nothing.” – Che Guevera
“Ernesto “Che” Guevara (June 14, 1928 – October 9, 1967), commonly known as el Che or simply Che, was an Argentine Marxist revolutionary, physician, author, guerrilla leader, totalitarian and military theorist. A major figure of the Cuban Revolution, his stylized visage has become a ubiquitous countercultural symbol of rebellion and global insignia within popular culture. In June 1955, while living in Mexico City, he met Raúl and Fidel Castro, joined their 26th of July Movement, and sailed to Cuba aboard the yacht, Granma, with the intention of overthrowing U.S.-backed Cuban dictator Fulgencio Batista. He played a pivotal role in the two-year guerrilla campaign that deposed the Batista regime.”
“His experiences and studying of Marxism–Leninism led him to posit that the Third World’s underdevelopment and dependence was an intrinsic result of imperialism, neocolonialism, and monopoly capitalism, with the only remedy being proletarian internationalism and world revolution”……More
“It is my thesis today that the sheer tenacity of the collectivist impulse — whether you call it socialism or communism or altruism — has changed not only the meaning of our words, but the meaning of the Constitution, and the character of our people.” ["A Whiter Shade of Pale," Speech to Federalist Society (April 20. 2000)….More
Judge Janice Rogers Brown
In A Whiter Shade of Pale Judge Brown clearly made the case for the individual and the Constitution of the United States, setting her apart from the herd that is hell-bend on doing away with the sacred document which declares the Natural and Inalienable Rights of the Individual, and protects him/her from oppression. The attempted character assassination of this black woman and mother enabled me to get a grip on the left-right, liberal-conservative political dynamic in the United States.
The subsequent nomination of Elena Kagan (Jewish) and Sonia SotoMayor (Hispanic) to the Supreme Court confirmed my thoughts that in the United States some women are also more equal than others.
Some opponents of Judge Brown’s Nomination
- Senator Charles Schumer (D. NY)
"As long as the administration continues to do this [nominate "conservative ideologues"], we will continue to block judges who are outside the mainstream.” and “I am disappointed to be here on this nomination. It’s almost like this administration is looking for someone who will most antagonize us.”
- Congressional Black Caucus
“Justice Brown’s disdain for legal precedent could not be clearer. In many of her decisions, Justice Brown appears to be a jurist on a right-wing mission…. Justice Brown’s record proves that she is unable or unwilling to divorce her personal views from her responsibility to fairly interpret the law and the Constitution. She should not be elevated to a federal court where she could further undermine the rule of law and the attendant legal protections.”
“We can’t expect the American People to jump from Capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving them small doses of Socialism, until they awaken one day to find that they have Communism.” Nikita Kruschev
The daughter of the infamous Rev. Jeremiah “Godd……America” Wright, was indicted for dibbling and dabbling with a $1.25 million state grant for a not-for-profit program called “We Are Our Brother’s Keeper.” The firebrand Rev. apparently didn’t teach his off-spring anything about the commandments, and I am not surprised since many who pretend to be man of God simply use the title and pulpit for their own selfish gains….Source
